Wet Chemistry

The ELS Wet Chemistry Section is equipped with pH and conductivity meters, balances, turbidimeter, spectrophotometers (VIS), and Lachat flow injection autoanalyzer. Testing for phosphorous, chlorides, nitrates, phenols, oil and grease, and total suspended solids are examples of analyses performed in this Analytical Section. The Wet Chemistry Section's autoanalyzer equipment is integrated into a computer system to accurately and efficiently analyze samples.
